NJAFC Expands Adding Youth Academy
NJAFC Invites all North Jersey Youth to Tryout
NJAFC is looking for boys and girls ages 12 to 16 to try out for their U13, U15 and U17 teams. NJAFC will be enrolling four teams to the league. These four teams will be playing in the UPSL Youth Academy beginni NJAFC, a semi-professional soccer team based out of Northern New Jersey, is proud to announce they are entering the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Youth Academy. Currently, NJAFC has teams enrolled in the UPSL, the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) and the Garden State Soccer League’s (GSSL), semi-professional and amateur leagues, respectively. NJAFC has looked forward to adding a youth club for several years in order to continue their mission to provide affordable soccer development for all. ng in 2021. Children who have already experienced travel soccer and Elite Development Program Soccer leagues are ideal candidates for this next-level, premier soccer program. Because this is a national league travel interstate and across states is expected, at first regionally and then nationally, should the team succeed into the semifinals.
Tryouts will be held at one of the club’s fields in Jersey City, NJ. Exact location will be provided to the player upon online registration. NJAFC asks all parents interested in signing up their kids to join them at their open tryouts. Online pre-registration is required to attend the tryout at njalliancefc.com. The tryout fee is $50 per session and the open session fee is $15.
Tryout schedule is as follows:
Boys & Girls U13 - 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Boys U15 - 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Girls U17 - 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
A little bit about the UPSL Youth Academy: The league is affiliated with U.S. Club Soccer and plays in accordance to FIFA rules. They have 300+ teams enrolled nationwide. It is a promotion-relation league, focused on player development. The season will begin in March or April and conclude in May or July of 2021. Over thirty-six states currently have teams enrolled. On average there will be one game per week.
